We're building something pretty incredible at Wonder - a platform that helps anyone to make great designs. We're democratizing design and making it accessible to literally everyone who has an idea they want to bring to life. What if vibe-coding tools had an infinite canvas with all design editing features and could actually reuse your components? That's Wonder!

The Role

We need someone absolutely legendary to be our Founding Designer. This isn't just another design job—you'll be shaping Wonder from day one, working directly with our team in SF and around the globe. You'll probably end up doing things you never imagined you'd do at a “design job” (in the best way possible).

As Founding Designer 🌎 you'll craft the core Wonder experience while also acting as the face of our design community—part product designer, part influencer, part community builder, part growth hacker. It’s going to be wild and amazing.

What you'll do

• Design the core Wonder experience - from those first wireframes to the final pixel-perfect interfaces that millions will use
• Build our design community - use your social media presence to share insights, build our brand, and attract the best creators
• Drive growth like crazy - design landing pages, marketing materials, conversion funnels, whatever it takes to grow
• Host epic events - organize in-person design workshops, community gatherings, and networking events with our founders in SF (No Coldplay concerts!)
• Wear ALL the hats - honestly, you'll probably end up doing things we haven't even thought of yet, and that's the fun part

What We Need

• You're ridiculously good at design - 3+ years of experience and a portfolio that makes people stop scrolling
• You have a solid social media following - especially on X/Twitter where designers actually hang out and engage with your content
• You love building communities - whether that's through content, events, or just being genuinely helpful to other designers
• You get growth - you understand conversion design, A/B testing, and how to make numbers go up
• You can be in SF - we're in-person 3 days a week because magic happens when we're together
• You thrive in chaos - startups are messy and unpredictable, but you see that as an opportunity
• You want to own this - you don't wait for permission, you see what needs to be done and you do it
